What we Do
Our Work in Promoting Integrity and Accountability
CIFA–Tanzania works to strengthen integrity, transparency, and financial accountability in institutions and communities across Tanzania.
Through education, research, advocacy, and collaboration, we support efforts that promote ethical leadership, responsible resource management, and good governance.
Our work responds to challenges such as fraud, misuse of resources, and weak accountability systems by focusing on prevention, awareness, and capacity building.
Integrity and Ethical Leadership Promotion
We promote ethical conduct and integrity in leadership, public service, and institutional operations. By encouraging ethical decision-making and responsible leadership practices, we help strengthen trust in institutions and governance systems.
Our initiatives support organizations and individuals in understanding the importance of integrity in service delivery and resource management.
Fraud Prevention and Financial Accountability
CIFA–Tanzania works to promote responsible financial management and accountability in the use of resources. We support initiatives that help prevent fraud, strengthen financial controls, and encourage transparency in financial systems.
Our work focuses on prevention and early awareness to reduce risks related to financial misconduct.
Education, Training, and Capacity Building
Education is central to our work. We provide training, awareness programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives that promote understanding of accountability, transparency, and governance.
Through these programs, we help build the capacity of institutions, professionals, and communities to support ethical and accountable systems.
Research and Knowledge Development
We conduct research and produce publications that examine issues related to integrity, accountability, and governance. Our research helps identify challenges, inform policy discussions, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Research findings are used to strengthen advocacy efforts and support public awareness.
Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement
CIFA–Tanzania engages with stakeholders to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance practices. Through dialogue, policy engagement, and collaborative initiatives, we support improvements in accountability systems.
We believe that sustainable change requires cooperation between institutions, communities, and partners.
Community Awareness and Engagement
We work with communities to raise awareness about integrity, accountability, and responsible leadership. Community engagement helps strengthen public participation and shared responsibility for good governance.
